Ciao! I’m a 41-year-old dude trying to help mother nature. I'm into environmental protection and nature reservation. When not actively guarding Animals & Plants or drawing on my personal cartoon the Airnimals - Normally, I’m running around the city, juggling work, family and my love for good espresso and pasta.
At the moment, I'm focusing on my new hobby - Web Blogging!
Hopefully to eventually save the world.

06/01/2026 - A glimpse of hope? Jackpot Baby!
After I managed to shove away lethargy and depression for a few days, I stopped drinking and smoking heavily and finally found some new hope. I was looking to hire another cartoon designer and tried hiring on reddit. Got a lot of applications, one was outstanding. Giacomo Boni applied to work with me, as I later found out he is a humble and great guy. But it wasn't quite as I have expected back then.
It wasn't the famous character designer Giacomo Boni who had applied through reddit. It was some random internet weep that impersonated Giacomo Boni, made use of his previous work just to scam me. This is some heinous reddit scheme that happens very often when people are looking for freelancers as I found out later. Thank god I contacted the real Giancomo Boni through another art-related website and asked him if he had applied to my reddit ad.
He didn't and he didn't felt quite well to get impersonated for some scam scheme. We had a nice chat. Great dude, talented artist but he couldn't work for me as he had another appointment already. Check out the newest game he is involved @ Bradley the Badger
24/12/2025 - Happy X-Mas
I won't complain. Sitting here with the rest of what is left that has once been my family makes my heart feel good. At least for now - It's warm, there is light and a roof over our head. We managed to get a cheap christmas tree that looks beautiful and we made a DIY christmas wreath before. 4 Candles have been lit. Kinda wholesome moment after all those struggle.

It's shivering cold inside my home. I had to get up early to get and carry home some wood and coal to heat up my living space to a degree that doesn't make you want to end it all. I just managed to pay a small amount to the electric grid company so that my electricity won't be shut off over christmas time. Looking forward to a happy holiday season.
11/19/2025 - Resilience is key
My financial situation is worse now. I still can't pay my bills. They already threatened to turn off the electricity. I'm sitting here, its freezing cold outside, in my barely heated home shivering eating Ramen. All I have left is hope. Hope that my business idea is soon coming to live and at least enable me to afford living itself again. I don't have a clue what to do if everything fails. I put all my efforts in designing and setting up the shop and still can't launch because of several reasons. I'm in debt. Companies want over 15k in money from me.
I feel lonely. While my closest relatives would like to help, they can't afford to help me. I'm going to face the repo man soon. I might get evicted from my home. The last bill I was able to pay was issued by my internet provider. Luckily some money came in at the right time but it was less than 60 bucks that I made online and it is all gone now after paying for internet access.
If I hadn't, I wouldn't be able to write these lines or keep on working on my clothing line up.
This is a message to myself and everyone else who is in some sort of a similar situation:
"Don't give up. Never give up. Pursue your dreams"
Time will tell if I made the right decision. The decision to not let me get enslaved by a system that is driven by corporate greed. A system that enslaves everyone from day 1 of birth. You have no choice. Earn money, pay taxes. They won't let you live in a remote cabin in the woods. Hunting and gathering for your own needs is illegal if you can't afford to pay for license etc.
They took the way of the mammal from us. They took our way of life, our way of survival from us. And AI surveillance is going to make everything worse than it already is.

I work on fulfilling my dream more or less fultime right now. I lost most of my revenue streams and I'm totally broke now. I don't know how to pay my bills anymore :-(
9/11/2025 - Holiday at home - My daily routine
After my bike incident few days ago I mostly stayed at home and enjoyed staying at home for the most part.I thought this days blog post, I will take you through a typical days routine during my holiday at home.
Morning: Slow Start with a Perfect Espresso
I’m not a morning person by nature, but I’ve learned to love my peaceful mornings, especially when I’m off work. I wake up around 7 or 8 AM, stretch a bit until my ankles make funny noises and head straight to my kitchen. I need a proper Italian espresso to start the day. None of that instant stuff - I’m talking about fresh beans ground just right, brewed in my trusty machine from the good old country.
While sipping my espresso, I like to sit by the window and watch the city slowly waking up. The fog still lingers over the bay, giving everything a soft, magical glow. It reminds me of the mornings back in my old country, where my Nonna used to make breakfast.
Midday: Cooking for the senses
By mid-morning, I get the urge to cook. Holidays are the perfect excuse to spend extra time in the kitchen or in bed. Today I’m gonna make risotto al funghi with a lot of cream. I like my pasta creamy, comforting, and packed with earthy mushrooms, portobello and such. The slow stirring, the aroma filling the house, it’s my kind of meditation.
Afternoon: A Walk and Some Family Time
After lunch, I usually go for a walk around the neighborhood. My city is full of hidden gems like little parks, quirky coffee shops, and murals that tell stories.
I call my mother. We share stories, laughs, and sometimes chat about other family members. Even though we’re miles apart, the holidays bring us closer as I have more time to spend.
Evening: Relaxing
As evening falls, I like to unwind with a glass of red wine, preferably Chianti or Barolo. Most of the evenings I start drawing cartoons or dive into a good book. The week before I have been back at drawing new Airnimals again.
Dinner is simple most of the times but still satisfying: maybe some pasta with fresh tomato sauce, basil, and a sprinkle of parmesan. Cooking for myself is a pleasure cause I only have to fit one taste. Mine :-)
Before bed, I take a moment to reflect on the day the little joys, the calm. I dislike watching TV or Youtube late, it just messes up my thoughts and keeps me from coming down and relaxing into sleep mode.
06/11/2025 Bike Incident on a rainy day
It was one of those typical gray, drizzly mornings here in the city. I had just finished my espresso and decided to take my bike to get through the neighborhood fast and pickup a parcel from the bodega some blocks away.
Halfway down a slick hill I had to slow down in order to stop at the red lights. I squeezed my brakes, and… nothing.
The brake lever went all the way to the handlebar with barely any resistance. My heart skipped a beat. I finally managed to stop by making a long turn and rolling uphill a street to my left.
My brake rope has slipped loose.
Luckily, I always carry a multi-tool with me when riding my bake. Tbh. I never leave home without it. Fixing the issue was no big deal.
With rain starting to drizzle harder, cars splashing through puddles, people rushing by with umbrellas I decided to hop on my bike and hurry up.
I made it to the bodega, grabbed my parcel and drove back home like a maniac because it was raining so bad.
By the time I got home, soaked, I mean, really really soaked I brewed another fair trade espresso and laughed at how unpredictable this life can be: unexpected, a little messy, but always an adventure.
08/28/2025 - Back into drawing again - New Airnimals Character
The last two evenings I spent my time drawing again. I'm about to create a funny cartoon character of my Airnimal Series. His name is Albert and he is drumroll a Koala.
I love Koalas but never draw one myself, so this is kind of challenging. Not sure if I should share my sketches here - Would you like to view them?
